Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
  • Assess students’ performance through tests, assignments, examinations, and other appropriate evaluation methods.
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities that support effective learning.
  • Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate feedback, guidance, and additional support where required.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and collaborate with other teachers and school management to support students’ overall development.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.Ed.) in English Language or English & Literary Studies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably within a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of English language teaching methods, curriculum development, and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.


Location: Ikotun/Ijegun and environs 


Remuneration: NGN 80,000 -100,000 Monthly (starting salary)
