The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is a semi-autonomous agency of the Government of Uganda, established under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act, 2013. The Bureau is responsible for providing registration services to businesses, individuals, and other entities in Uganda. The Bureau's mandate includes the registration of businesses, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights, as well as the provision of services related to company searches, name searches, and other corporate services. The Bureau is also responsible for the administration of the Uganda Business Registry, which is a database of all registered businesses in Uganda. The Bureau's vision is to be a world-class registration services provider, and its mission is to provide efficient, effective, and customer-centric registration services to the people of Uganda. The Bureau is committed to promoting business growth and development in Uganda, and to contributing to the country's economic development.
