<p>GENERAL JOB INFORMATION&nbsp;<br>Job Title: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Senior Business Intelligence Analyst&nbsp;<br>Organization/ Department: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Group Technology&nbsp;<br>Reports to: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead Business Analysis &amp; Demand Management<br>Salary Grade/ Band: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4C&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p>JOB PURPOSE&nbsp;<br>The Senior Business Analyst, also referred to as Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of a high-calibre data team supporting senior management through financial &amp; strategic planning and metrics monitoring as well as internal and external benchmarking.&nbsp;</p><p>The position will be responsible for partnering with various businesses and functional units to collect analyze and transform data into meaningful and effective presentations for senior management as well as group executives.</p><p>JOB CONTEXT &nbsp;<br>This position requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain key relationships and capable of working with team members, clients, and senior executives - effectively communicating with them at their level of analytical/technical understanding.&nbsp;<br>Design, plan and oversee self-audits of processes and systems, interpret results, and recommend improvements. &nbsp;</p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;<br>Strategically &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Working with business unit leaders to identify areas of opportunity within the business to leverage analytics. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Building advanced analytical capabilities to improve business decisions and actions within Group Technology&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Harvest data to create information that enables differentiation of service and products.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide proactive, real-time analytics to anticipate and enhance the customer’s experience and decision-making capabilities.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversee and assist with the coordination of the team’s workload management portal with the objective of maintaining constant transparency in the delivery status of our tasks.<br>Tactically and Operationally&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Leveraging SQL, data mining, data manipulation and statistical analysis (Python/R) to solve business problems, create opportunities, and identify potential analytic strategies. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Translating high-level operational businesses needs appropriate intermediate or complex analysis to be actionable. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Implementing analytical initiatives that deliver tangible process, product, people and/or technology improvements. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Building and optimizing Power BI dashboards and self-service reports and applying advanced analytics and statistical techniques to optimize business results and client satisfaction. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Presenting recommendations to management and business partners (including business implications) and determining how to best summarize and visualize the results. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare monthly reviews in partnership with the organization’s Lead Finance Officers teams through insightful analysis of business performance&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop ad-hoc analytics on themes that arise at senior management’s request and/or through proactive research of potential issues&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Coordinate and partner with business team to construct the monthly reports and annual plan in alignment with the strategy of the business; ensure data integrity and process flows are fully adhered to<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Partner with other analysts to design sound data models and star schemas, uphold data quality and testing standards, and drive efficiencies that enhance analytical prowess&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team. Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations</p><p>JOB PROFILE&nbsp;<br>Experience &amp; Qualifications&nbsp;<br>Technical competencies below indicate the minimum required proficiency level for this role (Novice / Beginner / Proficient / Expert), per the Data &amp; Analytics Competency Framework.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum 7 years demonstrated experience leveraging analytics and data analysis to deliver tangible business improvements with at least 5 years in financial services<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;SQL &amp; Database Management (Proficient) – able to independently design, query and manage relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) for accurate storage, retrieval and reporting<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Data Warehousing &amp; ETL/ELT (Beginner) – working knowledge of building data-integration pipelines to consolidate and transform diverse data sources&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Big Data &amp; Cloud Platforms – Azure, Spark (Beginner) – foundational understanding of cloud and large-scale data platforms, including data-governance and security controls&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Data Modelling &amp; Star Schema Design (Proficient) – able to structure data using dimensional/star-schema design for effective reporting and query performance&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Data Visualization – Power BI, Tableau (Proficient) – able to build meaningful dashboards and reports that communicate insight and drive decisions with Databricks / Power BI / Tableau exposure a plus<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Programming &amp;
