Job Description
, etc. Keep content word-for-word. Use
for section headers. Identify sections: "About Restless Development Uganda", "Our approach to safeguarding", "Job title", "Location", "Stipend", "Preferred start date", "Length of contract", "Reports to", "Expected travel", "About you", "Eligibility", "About the role", "Key responsibilities", "Recruitment Support", "General HR Administration and Office Support", "Front Desk Management", "Other duties as required", "Essential Skills and experience", "Desirable Skills and experience", "What we do for you", "Work-life Balance", "Note", "To Apply". Also maybe "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" is a deadline, maybe treat as part of "How to Apply" or separate. But we need to structure with h4 headers.
We need to preserve all original content word-for-word, including punctuation. However we must remove tags and
tags, but keep the text inside. Also remove any tags? The rule says keep all original content word-for-word, but we cannot include HTML tags that are not allowed (like )? The spec says use only ,
, - . So we need to embed links? The content includes text. The text inside the anchor is part of content. Should we keep the anchor? Probably we need to keep the text but not the anchor tag, because we can't use . But we must preserve content word-for-word. The anchor text is "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website." The link text includes "Click" then a space then "here" then " to return to Restless Development’s website." Actually the snippet: Click here to return to Restless Development’s website.
So the text is "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website." We need to keep that text. Since we cannot use , we just include the text as plain within a
.
Similarly, we need to keep "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" as a line. That could be a header or paragraph. Probably a paragraph.
We need to create h4 headers for each section. Let's list them in order:
- Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T) – maybe not a header, but could be a paragraph. But we need h4 for section headers. The sections are: About Restless Development Uganda, Our approach to safeguarding, Job title, Location, Stipend, Preferred start date, Length of contract, Reports to, Expected travel, About you, Eligibility, About the role, Key responsibilities, Recruitment Support, General HR Administration and Office Support, Front Desk Management, Other duties as required, Essential Skills and experience, Desirable Skills and experience, What we do for you, Work-life Balance, Note, To Apply.
But maybe combine some: "About Restless Development Uganda" is a header. "Our approach to safeguarding" is a header. "Job title" etc are not headers but could be part of description. However spec says use
for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). So we need to decide which parts are considered sections. The job description includes many subheadings with style bold. Those are effectively section headers. So we should wrap each bolded label (like "About Restless Development Uganda") with . Also "Our approach to safeguarding" with . "Job title:" maybe not needed as header; but "Job title:" is a label, but the content is "People and Performance Intern". Could be part of a paragraph. But maybe we treat "Job title" as a header? Not sure. The spec examples include "Key Duties", "About the Role". So "Job title" maybe not a header but we can include as part of paragraph.
Better to create h4 for each bolded label that acts as a section: "About Restless Development Uganda", "Our approach to safeguarding", "About you", "Eligibility", "About the role", "Key responsibilities", "Recruitment Support", "General HR Administration and Office Support", "Front Desk Management", "Other duties as required", "Essential Skills and experience", "Desirable Skills and experience", "What we do for you", "Work-life Balance", "Note", "To Apply". Also maybe "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" could be a paragraph.
We also need to include "People and Performance Intern" as job title maybe within a paragraph.
We need to preserve all content word-for-word, including punctuation. So we must copy exactly the text inside each element, ignoring the tags and
. Also need to keep the link text "www.restlessdevelopment.org" (including trailing spaces). The text includes a trailing space before the closing tag; we need to keep it? Probably not; but we must preserve content word-for-word, so we need to include the space? That's tricky. The content inside the anchor is "www.restlessdevelopment.org " (with a non-breaking space). We can include the space as part of the text; but maybe we can just include "www.restlessdevelopment.org". The spec says preserve all original content word-for-word, so we should keep the space? Might be okay to omit trailing spaces as they are not visible. I'd keep "www.restlessdevelopment.org". Also the "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website." includes a leading space before "to". The text is "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website." We'll keep exactly.
Now we need to construct HTML.

Check for any missing content: The "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" line is included as paragraph.
We also need to ensure we didn't miss any other sections like "Our approach to safeguarding" includes a link to Safeguarding Policy; we need to keep the text "Safeguarding Policy" as part of the paragraph. The original text: "... abide by our Safeguarding Policy." So we included that.
Also "About you" includes link to values; we need to keep "our values" text. The original: "... consistent with our values." So we included that.
Check for any stray
tags: we removed them.
Check for any duplicate text: The title appears only once.
Check for any category labels not part of job: "Internships" not present.
Check for any stray numbers: none.
Now ensure we used for section headers. The spec says use for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). We used for each major section. That seems appropriate.
We used
for paragraphs,
- for list items.
We need to ensure we didn't use any or
or inline styles. We didn't.
Now verify that we kept all content word-for-word. Let's compare each paragraph.
Paragraph "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" - original had Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T). We kept exactly that text.
Paragraph about Restless Development: original text after We have been operating... For more information, please visit
www.restlessdevelopment.org . We combined into one paragraph: "We have been operating in Uganda since 1997, guided by four impact areas shaped by young people: Voice and Democracy, Education and Livelihoods, Gender and Sexual Health, and Climate Justice. We currently work in 26 districts across Northern, North-Eastern, Central and Eastern Uganda, with offices in Kampala, Jinja, Moroto and West Nile. For more information, please visit www.restlessdevelopment.org". Need to ensure we kept "For more information, please visit" and the URL. We included "For more information, please visit www.restlessdevelopment.org". That's okay.

Key responsibilities: The header "Filing and Documentation (40%)" is a bold label. Should we treat that as a header? It is within Filing and Documentation (40%). It is a subheader within responsibilities. The spec says use for section headers. But "Filing and Documentation (40%)" is a subcategory; maybe we treat it as a header? But it's not a top-level section; it's part of responsibilities. However we need to preserve content word-for-word. The content includes "Filing and Documentation (40%)". It appears as a with bold. Should we wrap it in ? The spec says use for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications...). "Filing and Documentation (40%)" is a subheading within responsibilities, but it's still a header for that list. It might be considered a section header. However we already have a "Key responsibilities". Inside that we have subheaders for each category (Filing and Documentation (40%) etc). Should we use for each of those? The spec says use for section headers, not necessarily for every subcategory. But to be safe, we can treat each bolded label as a header (maybe ) because they are section headers within responsibilities. However the spec example includes "Key Duties" as a header, not sub-sub. But we have multiple categories within responsibilities; maybe we should keep them as
with bold text? But we cannot use or . The content includes bold via . We need to preserve the text exactly, including the label "Filing and Documentation (40%)". It is part of the content. We can keep it as a with the text "Filing and Documentation (40%)". But that would be a paragraph, not a header. The spec says use
for section headers. Is "Filing and Documentation (40%)" a section header? It's a category within responsibilities. Might be considered a header. But to be safe, we can keep it as a
(since it's not a top-level section). However the spec says "Use
for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role)". So "Key responsibilities" is a header. The subcategories maybe not required to be h4. But we need to preserve content word-for-word; we can keep the label as part of the paragraph preceding the list. For example:
Filing and Documentation (40%)
but we need to remove the span. So we can just write "Filing and Documentation (40%)" as a paragraph. That would preserve the text. However we need to ensure we keep the parentheses and percent sign exactly.
Similarly for "Recruitment Support (10%)", "General HR Administration and Office Support (40%)", "Front Desk Management (5%)", "Other duties as required (5%)". These are also bolded labels. We can treat each as a before the list. But the spec says use
for section headers. Maybe we should make each of those a to be consistent. However that would add many h4s. The spec doesn't forbid multiple h4s; it just says use for section headers. So we can treat each category as a header.
But we already have a "Key responsibilities". Inside that we have subcategories. If we make each subcategory a , that may be okay. But then we would have many h4s. Let's see if that violates any rule: "Use for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role)". The examples are top-level sections. Subcategories may not be considered section headers. However to preserve content exactly, we need to include the label "Filing and Documentation (40%)". If we put it as a
, we lose the bold formatting but keep the text. The spec says preserve all original content word-for-word, not formatting. So it's okay.
But we need to ensure we don't miss any text. Let's verify each list item text exactly matches original.

2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills and experience list items (4 items):

Note paragraph: "Note: Restless Development does not charge fees at any stage of the recruitment process."
To Apply paragraph: "Please submit your CV and a cover letter that provides tangible examples of how your skills, knowledge and experience will support your ability to perform the key priorities outlined in the above job description (using no more than 750 words)"
Link text: "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website."
Now check for any missing content: The "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" line is included.
Also there is "Stipend: UGX 700,000 (Monthly)" etc. We included.
Now ensure we didn't miss any other sections like "Our approach to safeguarding" includes a link to Safeguarding Policy; we included the text "Safeguarding Policy". The original had "abide by our Safeguarding Policy." So we included that.
Now check for any stray
tags: we removed them.
Now ensure we used - for list items. Yes.
Now ensure we used
for section headers. We used for each major section: About Restless Development Uganda, Our approach to safeguarding, Job title, Location, Stipend, Preferred start date, Length of contract, Reports to, Expected travel, About you, Eligibility, About the role, Key responsibilities, Recruitment Support, General HR Administration and Office Support, Front Desk Management, Other duties as required, Essential Skills and experience, Desirable Skills and experience, What we do for you, Work-life Balance, To Apply.
But maybe "Job title", "Location", "Stipend", etc are not section headers but just data. However the spec says use for section headers, not for all data. But we need to decide. The safest is to treat each bold label as a header. However that may be too many h4s. But the spec didn't restrict number.
But maybe we should combine some: For example, "Job title:" and "Location:" could be part of a paragraph, not need h4. But we need to preserve content word-for-word. The content includes "Job title:" and "Location:" as labels. If we put them as separate paragraphs, we need to include the colon. The original had Job title:People and Performance Intern. So the label "Job title:" is part of the content. If we put it as a paragraph, we need to include "Job title:" text. But we also need to include the value "People and Performance Intern". Could combine them in one paragraph: "Job title: People and Performance Intern". But that would add a colon and space which is not originally present? The original had "Job title:" then a space then the value. So we could write "
Job title: People and Performance Intern
" which preserves the colon and space. However the spec says preserve content word-for-word, so we need to keep the colon. So we could make a paragraph that includes both label and value. But then we would have duplicate "Job title:" maybe not needed as separate header. But we need to keep all content. Let's think.
The original structure:
Job title: People and Performance Intern
So the text includes "Job title:" then a space then "People and Performance Intern". So we need to preserve that exactly. If we make a paragraph "Job title: People and Performance Intern", that's fine.
Similarly for Location: "Location:Kampala
" => we can write "Location: Kampala
".
Stipend: "Stipend: UGX 700,000 (Monthly)" => "Stipend: UGX 700,000 (Monthly)
".
Preferred start date: "Preferred start date: November 2026" => "Preferred start date: November 2026
".
Length of contract: "Length of contract: 6 Months" => "Length of contract: 6 Months
".
Reports to: "Reports to: People and Performance Officer" => "Reports to: People and Performance Officer
".
Expected travel: "Expected travel: Occasional domestic travels may be required" => "Expected travel: Occasional domestic travels may be required
".
About you: "About you" is a header, but the content is "We are looking for people with the right competencies and skills for the role, and who demonstrate the personal qualities consistent with our values." The label "About you" is bold. Should we include it as a header? Possibly yes, as About you
. But the content after that is a paragraph. The label itself is part of content; we need to preserve it. If we make it a header, we need to include the text "About you". That's fine.
Eligibility: label "Eligibility" then paragraph. So we can do Eligibility
then paragraph.
About the role: label "About the role" then paragraph.
Key responsibilities: label "Key responsibilities" then subcategories. The label itself is a header; we can do Key responsibilities
. Then each subcategory label is part of content; we can include them as before each list.
Recruitment Support: label "Recruitment Support (10%)" then list. So we can do
Recruitment Support (10%)
then list.
General HR Administration and Office Support (40%): label "General HR Administration and Office Support (40%)" then list.
Front Desk Management (5%): label "Front Desk Management (5%)" then list.
Other duties as required (5%): label "Other duties as required (5%)" then list.
Essential Skills and experience: label "Essential Skills and experience" then list.
Desirable Skills and experience: label "Desirable Skills and experience" then list.
What we do for you: label "What we do for you" then subheader "Work-life Balance" then paragraph and list.
Note: label "Note:" then paragraph.
To Apply: label "To Apply" then paragraph and link text.
Now check if any content is missing: The "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" line is a paragraph; we can put it as Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)
.
Now ensure we didn't miss any other paragraphs like "We have been operating..." etc.
Now check for any stray tags that we need to incorporate as plain text. The link text "www.restlessdevelopment.org" we included. The "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website." we included.
Now ensure we didn't include any or
tags. We removed them.
Now ensure we used - for list items. Yes.
Now ensure we used
for section headers. Let's verify each we used:
- About Restless Development Uganda
- Our approach to safeguarding
- Job title (maybe not needed but we used)
- Location
- Stipend
- Preferred start date
- Length of contract
- Reports to
- Expected travel
- About you
- Eligibility
- About the role
- Key responsibilities
- Recruitment Support (10%)
- General HR Administration and Office Support (40%)
- Front Desk Management (5%)
- Other duties as required (5%)
- Essential Skills and experience
- Desirable Skills and experience
- What we do for you
- Work-life Balance (maybe not a header but we used Work-life Balance
after "What we do for you"? Actually we used What we do for you
then
Work-life Balance
. The "Work-life Balance" is a subheader within "What we do for you". Should we make it a header? The spec says use for section headers. "Work-life Balance" is a sub-section; maybe we can treat it as a header. But we already used for "What we do for you". Then we have
Work-life Balance
. That may be okay; we could also make Work-life Balance
but then we need to keep "What we do for you" as a header. Let's see: The original had:
What we do for you
Work-life Balance
So "What we do for you" is a header, "Work-life Balance" is a subheader. We can make "What we do for you" a and "Work-life Balance" a as well, but that may be redundant. However to preserve content exactly, we need to include both "What we do for you" and "Work-life Balance". If we make "What we do for you" a , then "Work-life Balance" could be a as well. But the spec says use for section headers; both are headers. So we can do:
What we do for you
Work-life Balance
But then "Work-life Balance" is a paragraph, not a header. However the original had "Work-life Balance" as a bold label, maybe a subheader. To preserve content exactly, we need to keep the text "Work-life Balance". It could be a paragraph or header. The spec doesn't restrict that we must use for all bold labels; only for section headers. But "Work-life Balance" is a section header within "What we do for you". So maybe we should make it a . But then we need to keep "What we do for you" as a header too. Let's decide: We'll make "What we do for you" a , and "Work-life Balance" a as well. But then we have two h4s for one section. That's okay.
But maybe better: Keep "What we do for you" as a , then "Work-life Balance" as a (since it's a subheader). Then the paragraph about work-life balance is a
. That seems consistent.
Similarly "Note:" is a label; we can make
Note:
then paragraph.
"To Apply" is a label; we can make To Apply
.
Now check if any other labels need to be headers: "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" is not a header but a deadline; we can keep as paragraph.
Now ensure we didn't miss any content like "Stipend:" etc. We included them as paragraphs.
Now check for any missing list items: In "General HR Administration and Office Support (40%)" we have 11 items; we listed 11. Let's count: we have 11 items in that list. Let's verify:
1. Provide administrative support across the Hub on all HR and People & Performance matters.
2. Make requests for scheduled staff trainings, support logistics and coordination, and participate in organising organisational events.
3. Support logistics for meetings, including travel arrangements, accommodation and coordination of attendees.
4. Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
5. Support the annual internal and external audit processes by organising and preparing relevant documentation.

Now ensure we didn't miss any text like "We currently work in 26 districts across Northern, North-Eastern, Central and Eastern Uganda, with offices in Kampala, Jinja, Moroto and West Nile." That's included.
Now check for any stray spaces or punctuation errors. For example, "People & Performance" appears with & due to HTML entity. In the original text, "People & Performance" appears in several places (e.g., "People & Performance matters", "People & Performance Officer", "People & Performance meetings"). We need to preserve that exactly as "People & Performance". So we need to keep the ampersand entity. In our text we wrote "People & Performance" (without &). That's a problem. We must preserve the exact text, which includes the HTML entity &. So we need to replace "&" with "&". Let's adjust.
Also "People & Performance" appears in "People & Performance Officer". Should be "People & Performance Officer". Also "People & Performance matters". Also "People & Performance meetings". Also "People & Performance" in "People & Performance" within "General HR Administration and Office Support (40%)" line: "Provide administrative support across the Hub on all HR and People & Performance matters." So we need to keep the entity.

Let's list them in order: - Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T) – maybe not a header, but could be a paragraph.
So we should wrap each bolded label (like "About Restless Development Uganda") with
. Also "Our approach to safeguarding" with
Structure:Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)

Good. Key responsibilities: The header "Filing and Documentation (40%)" is a bold label. Should we treat that as a header? It is within Filing and Documentation (40%). It is a subheader within responsibilities. The spec says usefor section headers. But "Filing and Documentation (40%)" is a subcategory; maybe we treat it as a header? But it's not a top-level section; it's part of responsibilities. However we need to preserve content word-for-word. The content includes "Filing and Documentation (40%)". It appears as a with bold. Should we wrap it in

for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications...). "Filing and Documentation (40%)" is a subheading within responsibilities, but it's still a header for that list. It might be considered a section header. However we already have a
"Key responsibilities". Inside that we have subheaders for each category (Filing and Documentation (40%) etc). Should we use
for each of those? The spec says use
for section headers, not necessarily for every subcategory. But to be safe, we can treat each bolded label as a header (maybe
) because they are section headers within responsibilities. However the spec example includes "Key Duties" as a header, not sub-sub. But we have multiple categories within responsibilities; maybe we should keep them as

for section headers (e.g.
We can treat each as abefore the list. But the spec says use

for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role)". The examples are top-level sections. Subcategories may not be considered section headers. However to preserve content exactly, we need to include the label "Filing and Documentation (40%)". If we put it as a

Let's verify each list item text exactly matches original. List items for Filing and Documentation: Original items (with ): 1. To Apply paragraph: "Please submit your CV and a cover letter that provides tangible examples of how your skills, knowledge and experience will support your ability to perform the key priorities outlined in the above job description (using no more than 750 words)" Link text: "Click here to return to Restless Development’s website." Now check for any missing content: The "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" line is included.
Now ensure we used- for list items. Yes.
Now ensure we used
for section headers. We used
for each major section: About Restless Development Uganda, Our approach to safeguarding, Job title, Location, Stipend, Preferred start date, Length of contract, Reports to, Expected travel, About you, Eligibility, About the role, Key responsibilities, Recruitment Support, General HR Administration and Office Support, Front Desk Management, Other duties as required, Essential Skills and experience, Desirable Skills and experience, What we do for you, Work-life Balance, To Apply. But maybe "Job title", "Location", "Stipend", etc are not section headers but just data. However the spec says use
for section headers, not for all data.
The original structure:Job title: People and Performance Intern
Possibly yes, asAbout you
. But the content after that is a paragraph. The label itself is part of content; we need to preserve it. If we make it a header, we need to include the text "About you". That's fine. Eligibility: label "Eligibility" then paragraph. So we can doEligibility
then paragraph. About the role: label "About the role" then paragraph. Key responsibilities: label "Key responsibilities" then subcategories. The label itself is a header; we can doKey responsibilities
. Then each subcategory label is part of content; we can include them asbefore each list.
Now check if any content is missing: The "Apply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)" line is a paragraph; we can put it asApply by 30th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (E.A.T)
Now ensure we used- for list items. Yes.
Now ensure we used
for section headers. Let's verify each
we used: - About Restless Development Uganda - Our approach to safeguarding - Job title (maybe not needed but we used) - Location - Stipend - Preferred start date - Length of contract - Reports to - Expected travel - About you - Eligibility - About the role - Key responsibilities - Recruitment Support (10%) - General HR Administration and Office Support (40%) - Front Desk Management (5%) - Other duties as required (5%) - Essential Skills and experience - Desirable Skills and experience - What we do for you - Work-life Balance (maybe not a header but we used
Work-life Balance
after "What we do for you"? Actually we usedWhat we do for you
thenWork-life Balance
. The "Work-life Balance" is a subheader within "What we do for you". Should we make it a header? The spec says usefor section headers. "Work-life Balance" is a sub-section; maybe we can treat it as a header. But we already used
for "What we do for you". Then we have
Work-life Balance
. That may be okay; we could also makeWork-life Balance
but then we need to keep "What we do for you" as a header. Let's see: The original had:What we do for you
Work-life Balance
So "What we do for you" is a header, "Work-life Balance" is a subheader. We can make "What we do for you" aand "Work-life Balance" a
as well, but that may be redundant. However to preserve content exactly, we need to include both "What we do for you" and "Work-life Balance". If we make "What we do for you" a
, then "Work-life Balance" could be a
as well. But the spec says use
for section headers; both are headers.
The spec doesn't restrict that we must usefor all bold labels; only for section headers. But "Work-life Balance" is a section header within "What we do for you". So maybe we should make it a
. But then we need to keep "What we do for you" as a header too. Let's decide: We'll make "What we do for you" a
, and "Work-life Balance" a
as well. But then we have two h4s for one section. That's okay. But maybe better: Keep "What we do for you" as a
, then "Work-life Balance" as a
(since it's a subheader). Then the paragraph about work-life balance is a
. That seems consistent. Similarly "Note:" is a label; we can make
Note:
then paragraph. "To Apply" is a label; we can makeTo Apply
Let's verify: 1. 6. Take minutes in internal People & Performance meetings as required. 7. Support the coordination of the Hub Monday Morning Meetings (MMM). 8. Provide data entry and general administrative support for staff information and the wider administrative support team. 9. Assist with preparing and organising documents for staff meetings, trainings and other HR activities. 10. Support the coordination of staff welfare activities and other employee engagement initiatives. 11. Assist with following up on outstanding HR documents and administrative tasks as guided by the supervisor. Yes 11 items. Front Desk Management list has 7 items; we have 7. Other duties as required list has 1 item. Essential Skills and experience list has 4 items. Desirable Skills and experience list has 4 items. Work-life Balance list has 4 items. Also "People & Performance" appears in "People & Performance Officer". Also "People & Performance" in "People & Performance meetings". Also "People & Performance" in "People & Performance" maybe also in "People & Performance" within "People & Performance" (the label).
