Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Organization 3iS is a non-for-profit organization that provides information management services to humanitarian and development organizations. Through information management, we help our partners target assistance to the world's most vulnerable populations, and we support local authorities and institutions to enhance their capacities and become autonomous in their internal data and information management activities.

Scope of Work

The M&E Officer will lead the design, implementation, and strengthening of monitoring and evaluation systems for 3iS projects in Ethiopia. This role ensures that programs are effectively tracked, results are measured, and data-driven insights inform decision-making. The M&E Officer works closely with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure accountability and the highest standards of data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• M&E System Development and Implementation
• Design and refine M&E frameworks, logical frameworks, and results-based monitoring systems
• Design and implement data collection tools, including surveys, assessments, and monitoring plans
• Develop and maintain databases and data management systems
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
• Develop and implement data analysis and visualization plans
• Provide training and capacity building to program teams and partners on M&E systems and data analysis
• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Develop and maintain M&E reports, including quarterly and annual reports
• Collaborate with program teams and partners to ensure that M&E systems are integrated into program design and implementation
