GEOLOG is a world leader in oilfield services delivering solutions to Oil, Gas and Geothermal operators globally, with a workforce approaching 2,000 and operations in 40+ countries. The company seeks to add Surface Loggers with different levels of experience for Ghana operations. The Surface Loggers in expected to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week on a flexible rotation schedule. The Surface Loggers is responsible for analyzing all the data during the drilling & other rig operations. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation, interpretation and submission of geological reports and logs.
  • To be the first contact point for the client and geological reports and logs.
  • Maintenance and on-site technical support in case of equipment failure.

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree in geology or related fields.
  • Minimum of a year's experience as Surface Loggers on drilling rigs including exploration and complex environment.
  • Good understanding of rig operations and ability to communicate effectively with client / rig supervisors.
  • Proven, extensive knowledge of rig safety regulations and safety issues.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English essential.
  • Ability to pass a work related physical and drug screening.
