POSITION: Forklift Driver JOB GRADE: B1 DEPARTMENT: Despatch REPORT LINE: Shift Supervisor LOCATION: PPC Cement Slurry Factory DATE OF VACANCY: 25 August 2026 NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 02 The purpose of this role is to operate the forklift in a safe manner, adhering to the requirements of the P.P.C. Codes of Practice. To load customer vehicles, and operate within a warehouse environment, meeting the site standards in terms of outputs and quality.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate
- Forklift Driver's licence
- Code 08 Driver's licence
Experience
- Qualified as a forklift driver
- Experience in operating in a warehouse
- Experienced in stacking, and de – stacking of palletized product
- 5 years experience in cement packing plant
Duties and Responsibilities
- To load customer vehicles, and operate within a warehouse environment, meeting the site standards in terms of outputs and quality
- Support Palletiser operator
- Road bulk loading
- Rail Loading
- Willing to work shifts and overtime
- Maintain cleanliness of forklifts
- Prevent environmental non – conformances
- To operate the forklift in a safe manner, adhering to the requirements of the P.P.C. Codes of Practice.
