Food Safety Specialist

About the role:

The main purpose of the position is to validate food safety and quality across the supply chain. This includes investigations of incidents of non confrmance and assisting with compliance updates and audits.

What you'll do:

• Validation of food safety and quality data across Supply Chain.
• Investigation of Supply Chain incidents and non-conformances.
• Consolidate and maintain food safety reports, including trends analysis, findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Manage, assist and maintain compliance updates on auditsand programs.
• Administration of all mock recalls, recalls and withdrawals.
• Assist with the administration procedures and documentation required for continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Assist with additional ad hoc queries and requests.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Technology or Food science.
