Business Development Manager - Kigali

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. This position involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand our presence in the mining sector, focusing on identifying new clients and driving revenue growth within a competitive market environment. Design and execute comprehensive strategies to identify and attract potential clients in the mining industry, leveraging market analysis and trend assessment. Proactively seek out and qualify new leads through networking, industry event participation, and nurturing existing relationships to maximize business opportunities. Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial prospect engagement and solution presentation to objection handling and closing deals, ensuring consistent revenue generation. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients at all organizational levels, including C-level executives, to foster trust and long-term partnerships. Develop and implement Territory Sales Plans, setting clear objectives, defining strategic activities, and ensuring a systematic approach to business development and market penetration. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. At least 5 years of professional experience in business development management (BDM) or marketing roles. Experience in engaging with stakeholders and markets within the East African region will be considered an additional advantage. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable. Relevant academic background with a bachelor's degree or higher. Extensive professional experience in business development or marketing, with a minimum of five years. Strong regional experience in East Africa, demonstrating familiarity with local markets and cultural nuances. Excellent command of English; proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable. Ability to develop strategic relationships and communicate effectively across diverse cultural contexts.
